Truth vs. "Truth"
"It's not a lie, if you believe it."--George Costanza
My new short story, One Way, is included in the anthology Road Signs, just released on Amazon. Seventeen talented authors from New Jersey and surrounding areas were challenged to pick a standard road sign and create a story loosely based on it.
One Way takes place in a future society where pre-programmed algorithms determine truth. The algorithms have replaced human observations and reason. The story centers on a young woman, Georgia, faced with the staggering contradiction of what her own eyes see vs. what the algorithms dictate in a case of murder. Like all the stories in the collection, this is a fast read with clearly defined heroes. One Way features a strong female protagonist.
Take the plunge and purchase Road Signs, the first anthology published by the Network of Writers and Artists (NOWA), which supports writers and professional communicators.
